1 skein of chunky yarn
Size 10 needles
Tapestry needle

Instructions
- Cast on 18 sts
- Knit all sts for every row
- Measure your headband on your own head as it gets longer (make sure you are gently stretching it to properly mimic how it will fit on your head)
- Stop when the ends meet around your head (about 15” for an adult woman)
- Cast off
- Choose which side you want to be the exterior, and seam together the ends so the headband forms a circle
- Hide any yarn tails, using the seam you made to hide them
- Cut a long length of yarn (at least 10x the length of the seam of your headband)
- Pinch your headband where the seam is and wrap the cut yarn around this area over and over until there’s about 4” of yarn left
- Hide this yarn tail in the back side of the yarn “knot” you just made
